Live Casino Sites UK Compared
UKGC-licensed live casino sites, side by side. What each operator publishes about its live studios and its withdrawal times, and whether its welcome offer even works on live tables (of the 10 we could read, most don't). Reviewed by Arthur Smith, Editor-in-Chief.

Which UK live casino sites are worth it?
For low stakes, MrQ lists live roulette from 20p and blackjack from £1, and LiveScore Vegas shows its limits on the lobby tiles (Crazy Time 10p to £1,500). Hippodrome has the only welcome bonus we read whose wagering counts live games, but at 8% a £100 bonus with 10x wagering takes £12,500 of live roulette or blackjack bets to clear. So I'd choose on the tables and the cashier rather than the bonus.
All 16 casinos here held an active UKGC licence on 6 October 2026, and the cards above have the rest.

Table limits we could see on the public lobby pages: MrQ Roulette from 20p, blackjack and baccarat from £1 · LiveScore Vegas Crazy Time 10p–£1,500 · Mecca Games Live Crazy Time A 10p–£1,000. The other sites in the table didn't show limits on the pages we read.
How we checked these casinos
Licences first. On 6 October 2026 we looked up all 16 casinos on the Gambling Commission's public register and every one had an active licence that day. The licence number on each card links straight to its register entry, so you don't have to take our word for it.
For 11 of the 16 we also read what the operator itself publishes about its live games, its welcome offer terms and its payments, as far as each site let us. That's what sits under "What we checked" on those cards. The rest either wouldn't load from where we ran the checks or sent us to an international version of the site, so the licence is all we could confirm for them, and their "What we checked" row says so.
And what we didn't do: we didn't deposit or play anywhere, and we didn't time a single withdrawal. Payout times on this page are the operators' own figures.
What we found on each site
These notes come from what each operator publishes on its own site (on 6 October 2026 we read its live casino pages where we could, plus its offer terms and payments pages). We didn't deposit or play anywhere for these checks. Withdrawal times are the operators' own figures. We didn't time any.
Hippodrome
Hippodrome Live Roulette and Hippodrome London Blackjack carry the casino's own name. Crazy Time's in the lobby as well.
Pro: Of the welcome offers we read, the only bonus whose wagering counts live games. And its lobby streams roulette from Hippodrome's own London casino.
Con: Live play counts for little towards the bonus (roulette and most blackjack 8%, baccarat 0%), so a £10 roulette bet, say, would only count as 80p.
Sources: live lobby · offer terms · payments
MrQ
Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time and Monopoly Live are on there, and MrQ's public live lobby page lists 42 live titles, though that's a count of tiles on the page rather than tables.
Pro: Lobby minimums are published. Live roulette from 20p, blackjack or baccarat from £1.
Con: The welcome spins on MrQ's own promotions page are for a slot, so they're no use at the live tables.
Sources: live lobby · operator's public offer · payments
32Red
We noted Lightning Roulette, Dream Catcher and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand in the lobby.
Con: 32Red's own offer terms prohibit using the welcome bonus on live casino at all. Debit card withdrawals stay pending for at least 24 hours, too.
Sources: operator's public offer · payments
LiveScore Vegas
There's Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette and Monopoly Big Baller, for a start.
Pro: Table limits are on the live lobby tiles (Crazy Time shows 10p to £1,500). I wish every site did that.
Con: One slot only for the welcome spins.
Sources: live lobby · offer terms · payments
Lottomart
Three from the lobby: Crazy Time Live, Lightning Roulette Live, Immersive Roulette Live.
Pro: Its welcome offer is 10% cashback with no wagering. The operator's terms don't set any game restriction either.
Con: The public lobby doesn't publish table limits or a table count. Makes it harder to compare.
Sources: live lobby · offer terms · payments
Kwiff
Kwiff advertises 800+ live casino games, a minimum and not an exact count, and the three we picked out are all blackjack: Lightning Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Power Blackjack.
Pro: Kwiff says most withdrawals are completed in under 30 minutes.
Con: Going by Kwiff's own promo terms, live casino and table-game stakes don't count towards the welcome offer's qualifying wager.
Sources: live lobby · offer terms · payments
Midnite Casino
Among Midnite's live games are Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette and Monopoly Live.
Con: The welcome offer on Midnite's help pages is for selected slots only. Debit card withdrawals can take up to 5 business days, a bit slow.
Sources: operator's public offer · payments
Virgin Bet
Virgin Bet's site lists Monopoly Live, Monopoly Big Baller and Crazy Time among its live games.
Con: Welcome spins are for Eye of Horus only, and live play doesn't count towards qualifying.
Sources: offer terms · payments
Sun Vegas
Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live is on the list.
Pro: A decent-sized live lobby. Its 'All live games' count shows 124, with Quantum Roulette Live and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette Live among them, although a few of the 124 are lobby tiles, so I'd treat it as a rough number.
Con: The welcome offer on Sun Vegas's own promotions page restricts both the bonus and the spins to seven slots. If you withdraw by BACS, allow up to 10 working days.
Sources: live lobby · operator's public offer · payments
Mecca Games
Pro: Limits are published for Live Crazy Time A, 10p to £1,000.
Con: No dedicated live lobby, and Crazy Time A is the only live game in the public catalogue. Thin, if live tables are mainly what you're after.
Sources: live lobby · offer terms · payments
What actually separates one live casino from another
Most people pick a live casino by the size of the welcome bonus, and for live dealer games that's close to the worst way to choose. A lot of those bonuses barely touch the tables.
Open the terms and find the game list. Plenty of UK welcome offers can only be used on slots, and where live games are allowed they usually count for a small share of each stake. It's easy to miss if you don't read that far down. Here's what a low rate does to a smallish bonus.
And that's at 10%. One offer we read in October 2026 counted live roulette and most blackjack at 8%, which is worse again. Baccarat got 0%.
Anyway, most welcome offers in the UK are free spins or slot bonuses. Fine if you play slots as well. For the tables, check the terms on any offer in the comparison above before you claim it, though the lobby and the cashier tell you far more than any bonus, which is what the rest of this page is about.
Why so many live casino lobbies look the same
Comparison pages tend to skip this, but most UK sites get their live tables from the same few studios. Evolution is the biggest name (Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, Infinite Blackjack, Monopoly Live), with Pragmatic Play Live and Playtech behind it, so if you log into five different casinos you'll often find the same dealer spinning the same wheel and not much changed apart from the logo.
Which makes a "300+ live games" banner a lot less impressive than it sounds.
I'd look at how many of those are exclusive or branded tables instead. A site's own roulette wheel, with its own dealers and its own limits. A few operators with land-based casinos have streamed roulette straight from their own casino floors, and to me that's properly different from the studio version. Most sites don't bother.
Oh, and check the limits on the tables you'd actually play. A blackjack table that starts at £5 a hand is a different proposition from one that takes a quid, especially once you've been sat there an hour or so.
The odds aren't the same across the lobby
Live game shows are good fun, I'll give them that. They're also where the house edge gets noticeably bigger. Have a look.
All long-run averages, mind.
RTP gets worked out over a huge number of bets. What it tells you is how a game is built to pay back over time, and pretty much nothing about what you'll get back in one session (the Gambling Commission makes the same point in its guide to RTP, if you'd rather hear it from them).
The Crazy Time range comes straight off Evolution's own rules page. For any other game you can look the figure up yourself, because UK-licensed casinos have to make a game's RTP or house edge available before you bet, and usually it's sitting in the help or rules screen.
Some sites market the shows as the best value part of the lobby. Going by those numbers, I wouldn't call them that.
Easy to miss: the stake cap that came in for online slots in 2025 (£5 a spin, or £2 if you're 18 to 24) doesn't apply to live tables. The Commission's guidance says the limits are for online slots only, which leaves out roulette and blackjack. That means a live blackjack table can take much bigger bets than any slot can. I'd set a deposit limit first, personally.
Live casino games and what they pay back
These are the RTP (return to player) figures the game studios publish themselves, read on their own websites on 11 October 2026. There aren't many. Evolution gives one for Crazy Time and none on the live roulette, blackjack or baccarat pages we read, and Pragmatic Play publishes a handful. Where a figure's missing, I'd open the help screen inside the game at your casino.
| Game | Provider | RTP (as published) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crazy Time (live) | Evolution | 94.41% to 96.08% on the how-to-play page, and the main game page's FAQ says 96.08%. Evolution doesn't say what moves it within that range | Crazy Time how to play (Evolution) and Crazy Time FAQ (Evolution) |
| Mega Roulette 3000 (live) | Pragmatic Play | 97.50% (one figure, not split by bet) | Mega Roulette 3000 (Pragmatic Play) |
| Privé Lounge Blackjack (live) | Pragmatic Play | Up to 99.51% with the Split After Split rule (the strategy behind it isn't stated) | Privé Lounge Blackjack (Pragmatic Play) |
| Live blackjack with Double Down After Split (all Pragmatic blackjack, including classic, Speed and Privé Lounge) | Pragmatic Play | Up to 99.59% with basic strategy, in some variations only (Pragmatic doesn't say which) | Pragmatic Play announcement, 3 June 2025 |
| American Roulette, double zero | Ezugi | No RTP given. Ezugi publishes a 5.3% house edge, which is roughly 94.7% RTP | American Roulette (Ezugi) |
| Roulette, European single zero (RNG) | Pragmatic Play | 97.30% | Roulette (Pragmatic Play) |
| Roulette Advanced (RNG) | NetEnt | 97.30% | Roulette Advanced (NetEnt) |
| European Roulette Announced Bets (RNG) | Tom Horn Gaming | 97.29% | European Roulette Announced Bets (Tom Horn) |
| French Roulette La Partage (RNG) | Tom Horn Gaming | 98.65% as one headline figure. The page doesn't say which bets it covers | French Roulette La Partage (Tom Horn) |
| Baccarat (RNG) | Pragmatic Play | 98.76% (the page doesn't say for which bet) | Baccarat (Pragmatic Play) |
| Dragon Tiger (RNG) | Pragmatic Play | 96.27% (no breakdown by bet) | Dragon Tiger (Pragmatic Play) |
Live roulette
Single-zero roulette returns about 97.3% in theory. Pragmatic Play lists 97.30% for its single-zero RNG Roulette, and NetEnt's Roulette Advanced shows the same. I'd avoid double zero where there's a choice, since Ezugi puts its American Roulette house edge at 5.3%. Evolution's live French Roulette uses the La Partage rule, so an even-money bet loses only half the stake when zero lands. Of the live roulette pages we read, only Pragmatic's Mega Roulette 3000 gave an RTP (97.50%). Evolution's Lightning Roulette page gives none, and a plain straight-up win there pays 29:1 rather than 35:1.
Live blackjack
Pragmatic Play is the only provider we found that publishes a live blackjack RTP. It says its Double Down After Split rule, played with basic strategy, gets the return up to 99.59% in some variations, without saying which. On the one-player Privé Lounge Blackjack, Split After Split takes it up to 99.51%. Evolution's pages for Infinite, Lightning, Power and Free Bet Blackjack show no RTP. Because your decisions change the return, Gambling Commission guidance says a skill game's RTP should be worked out using either the auto-play strategy or a standard or published strategy.
Live baccarat and Dragon Tiger
Live baccarat has no published RTP on the Evolution or Pragmatic Play pages we read, so compare payouts and fees instead. Evolution's Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets pay 11 to 1. Its No Commission Baccarat drops the 5% commission on Banker wins, but a Banker win on 6 pays only 0.5:1, half the stake. Pragmatic lists 98.76% for RNG Baccarat (it doesn't say which bet) and 96.27% for RNG Dragon Tiger, neither of them live figures. Evolution's live Dragon Tiger pays 11:1 on a Tie and 50:1 on a Suited Tie.
Game shows
Crazy Time was the only one of the game shows we checked with an RTP on the provider's own site. Evolution gives it as a range, 94.41% to 96.08% (its FAQ just says 96.08%), and doesn't say what moves it. Even the top of that is below the 97.30% listed for single-zero roulette. We found no RTP on the provider pages for MONOPOLY Live, MONOPOLY Big Baller, Dream Catcher, Funky Time, Mega Ball, Lightning Storm, Mega Wheel or Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. Evolution also puts the chance of a Crazy Time bonus round at 1 in 6 on each spin.
Some tables add a fee to your bet. A few Evolution games charge one on top of the stake. Lightning Blackjack adds a 100% Lightning Fee to each initial bet. Lightning Baccarat, Golden Wealth Baccarat, Lightning Dragon Tiger and Lightning Sic Bo add 20%, Peek Baccarat takes 20% on Player or Banker bets, and XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat adds 50%. In Evolution's own example, a €5 bet on Lightning Dragon Tiger comes to €6 once the fee's on. Worth knowing before you set a session budget.
Where live casinos still get on my nerves
One bar of 4G mid-hand and you're watching a spinner. Meanwhile the hand settles without you.
Every seat at the blackjack table is taken, so you bet behind and ride along on whatever someone else decides to do with their hand, which is every bit as dull as it sounds.
Not the live lobby's fault, strictly, but a payout stuck on pending for days spoils the whole thing.
That last one's what I'd check first. If a site takes a week to pay you, I don't much care how good its tables are.
Wagering's less of a fight these days, in fairness. Since 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission caps wagering at 10 times the bonus, so the 35x and 40x offers that used to be common aren't allowed at UK-licensed sites any more. Those same rules banned promotions that mix products as well, the sort where a sports bet got you casino free spins.
The cap doesn't cover game contribution rates, though. Live games can still count for little or nothing towards wagering, so if you mainly play live, the problem we went through in the bonus section hasn't really gone anywhere.
Paying in, cashing out and playing on your phone
Credit cards are out. The Gambling Commission banned gambling on them from 14 April 2020, and loading a credit card into PayPal or another e-wallet first doesn't get round it.
At a UK-licensed site you get age-checked before your first deposit, and before any free-to-play demo too. Electronic checks may be instant. Document checks can take longer.
Since 31 October 2025 sites have had to prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and since 30 September 2026 they've had to offer a deposit limit over 24 hours, 7 days or a month. Lowering it works straight away, raising it means waiting at least 24 hours, then confirming. I'd set one when the prompt comes up. Since 17 January 2025 live tables, like other casino games, have also had to show how long your session's been running.
On withdrawals, the Commission says you can take your money out at any time without unreasonable delay. A site stalling over ID it could have asked for earlier may be breaching its licence, though anti-money-laundering checks can hold a withdrawal on rare occasions. Safer-gambling checks aren't a fair reason to delay one. A July 2023 Commission blog said some of the largest operators paid around 99% of withdrawals within 24 to 48 hours, going by data those firms gave it.
On a phone, Evolution says it streams its live games in HD, and Pragmatic Play runs its live casino in HTML5 on mobile and desktop. What you won't get at a UK site is split-screen play. Since 17 January 2025 operators haven't been allowed to offer multi-game or split-screen play on casino games.
Live tables and RNG tables
A live game's result comes from physical equipment such as a roulette wheel, usually run by a human croupier. An RNG game is computer graphics, with a random number generator picking the result. RNG games are tested by an approved test house before release, and live studios must be fair and independently auditable.
How to compare live casinos
Licence first, it's the quick one. We looked up every casino on this page on the UK Gambling Commission's public register on 6 October 2026 and all of them held an active licence, and you can check any operator yourself in the same place.
Then this lot, before you sign up. I'd start with payouts, for the reasons in the last section.
How many real tables (a lobby tile isn't always one), which studios, anything exclusive, the range of limits.
What you can withdraw to. And how long it really sits pending.
Whether live games count towards wagering at all, and at what rate. It's usually low.
Try a table on your phone over 4G, not just on the home Wi-Fi.
Is live chat open late? And is it a person who replies, or a bot?
Deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks. You shouldn't have to hunt for them. GamStop self-exclusion is compulsory at every UK-licensed site, so it doesn't help you tell sites apart.
For the record, we earn a commission from the casinos on this page when you sign up through our links. It's how the site is funded.
New to live tables? If you do try one, keep it small. One session on a low-limit roulette table or Infinite Blackjack before you claim any offer, and half an hour of that tells you more about a site's stream and its cashier than the bonus banner will.
Live casino FAQ
Which UK live casino sites are worth a look?
Going by our checks on 6 October 2026, I'd look at Hippodrome, LiveScore Vegas and MrQ. Of the welcome offers we read on the operators' own sites, Hippodrome's was the only bonus whose wagering counts live games, though live roulette and most blackjack count just 8%. The other two suit smaller stakes. LiveScore Vegas shows table limits on its live lobby (Crazy Time 10p to £1,500) and MrQ lists live roulette from 20p and blackjack from £1. All 17 casinos on this page had an active UK Gambling Commission licence that day.
How long do live casino withdrawals take in the UK?
It varies by casino and by payment method. When we checked the operators' payment pages in October 2026, Kwiff said most withdrawals are completed in under 30 minutes, Hippodrome said it processes them in up to 24 hours and Midnite gave up to 5 business days for debit cards. Those are the operators' own figures. We didn't time any payouts ourselves. Live casino winnings come out the same way as any other casino winnings. And a casino can run extra checks before it pays.
What is a live casino?
It's a real table, filmed as it happens. A dealer deals actual cards or spins an actual wheel, in a studio or on a casino floor, and you bet through the site or app while you watch. In the UK that's mostly roulette, blackjack and baccarat, plus game shows like Crazy Time and Monopoly Live.
Are live casino games rigged?
At a casino licensed in Great Britain they shouldn't be. Live games there are regulated by the Gambling Commission, whose technical standards cover how the games work and how they're tested, and the cards and wheels are physical ones you watch on camera. So stick to licensed sites. You can look any of them up on the Commission's public register. If you think something's gone wrong, complain to the casino first and, if that gets you nowhere, to its independent dispute resolution (ADR) provider.
Can I use a casino bonus on live dealer games?
Often you can't. Lots of UK welcome offers only work on slots. Where live games are allowed, each live stake usually counts for only a fraction towards wagering, and the cap that has limited wagering to 10 times the bonus since 19 January 2026 doesn't change contribution rates. If live blackjack counted at 10%, clearing the same bonus at the table would take ten times the betting it takes on slots. Read the game list and the contribution rates before you opt in.
Which live casino game has the best odds?
In most live lobbies it's blackjack, played with basic strategy. That returns just over 99% in theory, with baccarat's banker bet close behind at about 98.9% (a 1.06% house edge) and single-zero European roulette at 97.3%. Game shows pay back less. Evolution publishes a range of 94.41% to 96.08% for Crazy Time, and like every figure here those are long-run averages, so a single session can land a long way either side of them.
Do the UK slot stake limits apply to live casino games?
No. The caps are £5 a spin (since 9 April 2025) and £2 for 18 to 24 year olds (since 21 May 2025), and the Gambling Commission brought them in for online slots alone, so roulette and blackjack aren't touched. Live tables set their own, table by table, and they can be much higher, though UK casinos still have to offer you deposit limits and may run financial checks depending on how much you deposit.
What is the RTP of Lightning Roulette?
Evolution's Lightning Roulette page doesn't give one, but it does publish the payouts. An ordinary straight-up win pays 29:1 instead of the usual 35:1, the 1 to 5 Lucky Numbers struck each round pay 50x to 500x on straight-up bets, and every other bet pays as standard roulette does. The house edge, RTP or odds of winning have to be available to you before you bet at a UK-licensed casino, so look in the game's help screen.
Can I play live casino games for free?
Not at the live dealer tables, as far as we could find. Evolution, for example, has free demos of its First Person games, which are RNG versions, but only video clips of its live ones, and it suggests learning by watching live games in progress. At a UK-licensed casino you have to pass an age check before you can open any free-to-play game, and the free version must use the same rules as the real-money one.
Can I use a credit card at a UK live casino?
No. Gambling with a credit card has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, and the ban covers online casinos along with betting and bingo. It also catches credit card money sent through an e-wallet such as PayPal, so a casino that takes e-wallet payments has to make sure the funds weren't loaded from a credit card.
What is the minimum bet at a live casino?
There's no single minimum, every live table sets its own. Some live roulette tables take bets of a few pence. Blackjack tends to start at £1 to £5 a hand, high-limit tables a lot more. Each table lists its min and max in its limits, and you see them before you bet.
Can I play live casino games on my phone?
Yes. The big studios stream to phones, in the browser or in the casino's app. The signal matters more than the handset, honestly. Drop out mid-hand and you sit there while it settles without you, so decent Wi-Fi or a strong 4G/5G connection helps a lot.
How old do I have to be to play at a UK live casino?
18 or over. A UK-licensed casino has to check your age before you can deposit or play, and it confirms your name, address and date of birth too, so there's an ID check at sign-up. Often it's done electronically. Sometimes you'll need to upload a document as well.
Do I pay tax on live casino winnings in the UK?
Not on the winnings themselves, no. Gambling winnings aren't taxed in the UK, whether they come from live casino games, slots or sports betting, and it's the operators who pay instead, through gambling duty. For online casinos that's Remote Gaming Duty.
