Where should you play Big Bass Bonanza?
At a UKGC-licensed casino that shows a high RTP for it. Of the casinos here that give a figure, Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Games showed the highest, 94.50%, while five gave 92.05%. BuzzBingo's game info gives 92.05%, though an FAQ in the same place says 95.67%. None matched the studio's own 96.71%. Big Bass Bonanza is the fishing slot that started the whole Big Bass series, a Reel Kingdom game that Pragmatic Play brought out in December 2020. How we checked these casinos
Licences first. We looked up every casino on this page on the Gambling Commission's public register, and every one had an active licence (6 and 12 October 2026). Each card's licence number links to its entry.
Then the game. On 12 October 2026 we read each casino's own Big Bass Bonanza page where it has one, its game data and its welcome offer terms, logged out: the RTP it shows for the game, the stakes it lists, and whether its welcome spins or bonus can be used on it. The UK sites of five casinos wouldn't load from where we ran our checks, or sent us to an international version, and their cards say so.
The game details come from Pragmatic Play's and Reel Kingdom's own pages and the game's rules screen, and the UK rules from the Gambling Commission. We didn't deposit or play for real anywhere for this page, and withdrawal times are the operators' own figures, read on 6 and 12 October 2026.

What RTP does each UK casino show for Big Bass Bonanza?
It varies, and none of them matched the studio. Pragmatic Play's own RTP for Big Bass Bonanza is 96.71%, but the nine casinos on this page that give one showed between 92.05% and 94.50%, and they didn't all agree with each other.

Hippodrome, Sun Vegas and 32Red didn't show a figure for the game on the pages we could read; in that case, look for it on the game's own information screen.
RTP is the share of stakes a game pays back on average, over a very large number of spins. It won't tell you how tonight goes, but a lower figure means the game keeps more of what's staked over time.
In pounds, the average cost of £100 of spins over the long run works out at £3.29 at 96.71%, £5.50 at 94.50%, £5.98 at 94.02% and £7.95 at 92.05%. Over a single session the result can swing either way, but a lower RTP takes more over time.
You don't have to take anyone's word for it. A UK-licensed casino has to make a game's rules, and its RTP or odds of winning, easy to find before you play, and in Big Bass Bonanza the RTP sits on the rules screen behind the "i" button. How Big Bass Bonanza works
On the surface it's simple: five reels, three rows and 10 paylines, paying from left to right. Reel Kingdom made it and Pragmatic Play released it in December 2020, the first game in what has since become a very long fishing series.
The fish are money symbols. The fisherman wild turns up only in the free spins. When he lands, he reels in the cash value of every fish showing. The value is printed on each fish, and it'll be 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 2,000x your total bet. If a single wild lands with no fish on the reels, the game can drop fish in at random.
The scatters are your way in. Three give you 10 free spins, four give 15 and five give 20. From there the wilds do the work: each time you've collected four more, you get 10 extra spins and a bigger multiplier on the fish, 2x the first time, then 3x, then 10x. It stops after that third step, so one round tops out at 50 free spins.
There's no agreed volatility rating. Pragmatic Play's and Reel Kingdom's game pages don't give one, the game's own information screen now says low, and the casinos here that rate it say anything from medium to high. We wouldn't lean on the label; the RTP and your own budget tell you more.
Big Bass Bonanza max win and stakes in the UK
You can win up to 2,100 times your stake. Hit that during free spins and the round stops there, however many spins you had left. Online slot stakes in Great Britain are capped at £5 a spin, and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, so £10,500 is the most one spin can pay here, or £4,200 if you're under 25. At 10p a spin it's £210.
You'll see other sites quote £250 bets and £525,000 wins. £250 is the top bet in Pragmatic's own free demo, even in its UK version, and 2,100 times £250 is £525,000, but no UK-licensed casino can take more than £5 a spin on the game, so neither figure applies here.
UK rules that change how Big Bass Bonanza plays
Play it at a UK-licensed casino and a few things work differently from elsewhere, because of the Gambling Commission's rules for online slots and the government's stake limits:
- No autoplay. You start every spin yourself.
- At least 2.5 seconds a spin. That caps the game at 1,440 spins an hour, and there's no turbo, quick spin or slam stop to hurry it along.
- Your totals on screen. The casino has to show your net position (wins minus losses) and how long you've been playing during a slots session. Pragmatic's UK demo shows the time of day next to the game name and has no autoplay button or spin-speed setting.
- No celebrating a loss. A spin that pays back no more than you staked can't get win sounds or animations.
- A £5 stake cap, or £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, in force since April and May 2025.
- No buying the bonus. In 2020 the Commission had operators remove "feature buy-in" options from slots and told others to do the same. Pragmatic says the bonus buys on some later Big Bass games are only offered in select markets.
